-
Payment must be made in full for the entire term. Skipping lessons within a term is not allowed and will result in fee being forfeited if make up lesson is not arranged in advance.
-
All lessons that have been paid for must be attended within the current term.
-
Math Note reserves the right to refuse attendance if payment is not received before the lesson.
-
Failure to make payment after 3 reminders will result in the student being considered as having withdrawn from lessons.
-
All attended lessons are non-refundable.
-
Lessons are non-refundable once the scheduled date has passed, even if the student did not attend.
Registration Fee
-
A first-time registration fee of $80 is waived for all new students.
-
Students who have withdrawn or stopped attending lessons for one month (equivalent to four lessons) or more will be considered as a new enrolment and will be subject to a non-refundable registration fee of $80.
Suspension of Lessons
-
Lesson suspension is not permitted. Students who are unable to attend their scheduled lessons must arrange for a make-up lesson within the same term at the earliest available slot.

Lesson Schedule and Timing
-
Lessons will be held as usual during public holidays and school holidays, following the regular timing, unless otherwise stated.
-
Please take note of the center's closure dates during normal school terms.
-
Lesson timings are non-negotiable and adhere to a fixed schedule. However, in cases where a student is unable to attend a lesson due to school-related activities, a makeup lesson, subject to the availability, can be arranged upon request.
-
No refunds will be provided for lessons after their original scheduled date has passed. For example, if a lesson was originally scheduled for 1st January and the student arranged a make-up session for 10th January but decides to withdraw on 5th January, the fee will not be refunded. The student must attend the make-up lesson, or the lesson fee will be forfeited.
Attendance/Replacement Classes
-
Students must inform the center at least 2 days in advance if they are unable to attend a lesson and arrange for a replacement within the term.
-
Cancellation of a lesson 1 day prior to or on the day of the lesson will result in the forfeit of the lesson fee, unless supported by official documents (e.g., Medical Certificate) and reviewed on a case-by-case basis in case of emergency.
-
Absence without prior notification will result in the forfeit of the lesson fee.
-
During exam periods and school holidays, it is advisable to book replacement lesson(s) in advance due to potential schedule changes.
-
Replacement lessons are subject to availability.
-
Unattended lessons will not be credited to the following term.
-
The number of lessons in a term is fixed and cannot be adjusted if a student is unable to attend. A make-up lesson must be arranged based on availability.
-
Math Note reserves the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, replacement classes will be arranged, or lesson fees will be refunded.
Transferring of Weekly Lesson to Another Timing

Requests for transferring lessons to a different time slot must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
-
Lesson transfers are subject to availability.
-
Transferring lessons for more than 3 consecutive lessons to another timing is not allowed.
