I was teaching a few students today and coincidently, two students said the same thing half-jokingly to me during two different lessons, "I don't want to do anymore because I am so tired."
I can totally understand how they felt. It takes a lot of effort for them to do and learn, this is especially true for students who don't have interest in Math. One of them even told me, "If it's not during tuition, I don't think I have the motivation to do them myself." Upon hearing this, I pictured myself in her position as a student. Indeed, if I am a teenager, especially with so many distractions around, perhaps I would also be spending my time on watching videos on Youtube or playing games rather than doing Math.
Nevertheless, I was glad that I was with my students for the lessons. At the very least, during the lesson time with me, they were doing some Math!
